Hydraulic oil tank function
(1) Store sufficient hydraulic working medium required for the hydraulic transmission system;
(2) Provide installation positions for components in hydraulic transmission systems;
(3) Sedimentation of pollutants in hydraulic working media;
(4) Air escaping and infiltrating into the hydraulic working medium;
(5) It should be able to effectively prevent the invasion of external pollutants;
(6) Release the heat generated during the operation of the hydraulic transmission system.
Basic structure of hydraulic oil tank
A hydraulic oil tank is a specially designed container that not only stores hydraulic oil, but also has the function of dissipating heat and settling oil stains. Therefore, except for cleaning the hydraulic oil tank, the upper cover cannot be easily removed. An air filter should be installed on the oil tank to allow the atmosphere to communicate with the air inside the tank through the filter. Hydraulic oil tanks are generally composed of main components such as quick refueling joints, air filters, thermometers, oil level gauges, oil suction self sealing devices, casings, and drain valves.
The purpose of each component is as follows:
·Air filter: prevents external debris from entering, filters the air, and balances the pressure between the fuel tank and the atmosphere.
·Oil level gauge: used to observe the amount of oil in the tank. When the pump is working, the oil level must be above the middle position of the oil level.
·Temperature gauge: displays the hydraulic oil temperature.
·Quick refueling connector: used for adding hydraulic oil.
·Drain valve: used to remove dirty oil during oil supply tank cleaning, it is usually closed.
